1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using huhealth.co (the "Site") and placing orders through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Telehealth Services

HuHealth facilitates access to licensed physicians through our telehealth partner, MD Integrations. It is important to understand that:

  • HuHealth is not a medical provider. We are a telehealth platform that connects patients with independently licensed physicians.
  • A physician consultation is required for all prescription items. No prescription medication will be dispensed without physician review and approval.
  • The physicians who review your case are licensed, independent medical professionals. Their clinical decisions are made solely based on their medical judgment.
  • Telehealth consultations are not a substitute for in-person medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.

3. Consultation and Prescription Process

When you place an order for a prescription product, the following process applies:

  1. Your payment method is authorized (not charged) at checkout
  2. You complete a health intake questionnaire
  3. A licensed physician reviews your submission and medical history
  4. The physician determines whether the requested treatment is appropriate for you

Treatment may be approved or denied based on the physician's medical evaluation. If your consultation results in a denial, your payment authorization will be cancelled in full and you will not be charged.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for prescription products is handled as follows:

  • Authorization hold: At checkout, your payment method is authorized for the order total. This is a hold, not a charge.
  • Charge on approval: Your payment is captured (charged) only after a licensed physician approves your treatment.
  • Cancellation on denial: If your prescription request is denied, the authorization hold is released and you are not charged.
  • Non-prescription products: Lab test kits and other non-prescription items are charged immediately at checkout.

5. No Guarantee of Treatment

Submitting an order does not guarantee that you will receive prescription medication. All prescriptions are at the sole discretion of the reviewing physician. Treatment may be denied for any medical reason, including but not limited to:

  • Contraindications based on your medical history or current medications
  • The requested treatment being deemed inappropriate for your condition
  • Incomplete or inaccurate health questionnaire responses
  • Any other clinical concern identified by the reviewing physician

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that treatment approval is not guaranteed and that the physician's decision is final.

6. Pharmacy Fulfillment

Approved prescriptions are fulfilled by The Pharmacy Hub, a licensed compound pharmacy. Once your prescription is approved by a physician, The Pharmacy Hub prepares and ships your medication directly to your provided shipping address. Shipping times may vary based on your location and the specific medication ordered.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HuHealth and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to treatment outcomes, prescription denials, shipping delays, or any interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or business operations. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
